Frequently Asked Questions

We are rooted in the Pentecostal tradition and led by the Holy Spirit, but we are not tied to a specific denomination. We believe in unity across the body of Christ and welcome people from all church backgrounds—or none at all.

Church418 is a Spirit-filled, radically inclusive ministry based on Luke 4:18–19. Jesus declared His mission was to preach good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, free the oppressed, and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. That same mission is our foundation—we’re here to love, heal, empower, and welcome everyone into the presence of God.

Our mission is to foster healing, freedom, and restoration through the Spirit of the Lord, embracing diversity in worship.

It means everyone has a seat at the table—regardless of race, orientation, gender, background, or past. We actively embrace all of God’s people and believe the Gospel calls us to love without condition.

We create space for healing and validation. Many of us have walked that road too. You’ll find a community here that listens, honors your story, and helps you rediscover your faith and your connection with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, in a safe, affirming space.

Yes, we believe spiritual gifts are still active today. These include wisdom, healing, prophecy, speaking in tongues, and more—given by the Holy Spirit to empower and build up the church.

We believe God’s heart is for inclusion, healing, and liberation. We use sound theological study, historical context, and spiritual discernment to interpret Scripture in a way that aligns with Jesus’ life and message—especially for the marginalized and misunderstood.

418 Ministries is grounded in the living Word of God, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and committed to the radical inclusivity modeled by Jesus Christ. We embrace the full Gospel—one that saves, heals, delivers, and restores.

The Great Commission
We believe we are called to go into all the world—proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, healing the broken, and serving the hurting. Our mission is fueled by compassion and powered by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s heart, His will for creation, and the path of redemption through Jesus Christ. It is living and active, relevant for every generation.

God the Trinity
We believe in One God—eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Each is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, working together in perfect unity for the redemption and restoration of creation.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to heaven. He is the Savior of the world and the only way to God. He is coming again to restore all things.

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active, ongoing work of the Holy Spirit—who empowers, comforts, convicts, teaches, and fills every believer. We affirm the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and discernment. The Spirit equips us to live holy and powerful lives.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone—not earned, but received as a gift. Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, made new, and reconciled to God. All are invited to receive this gift, regardless of background, history, or identity.

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on Earth, made up of all believers. The Church is called to worship, serve, make disciples, and be a light in the world. We are committed to being a church for all people, where every race, gender, orientation, and background is welcomed and valued.

Inclusivity and Justice
We believe God calls us to love all people and stand against injustice. We affirm the dignity and worth of every human being and seek to reflect Christ’s radical love and hospitality. Our doors, hearts, and communion tables are open to all.

Spiritual Growth and Discipleship
We believe spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. We are committed to teaching, learning, and walking in the Spirit daily—growing in faith, love, and service. We pursue the fruit of the Spirit as evidence of God’s work within us.

Yes. Absolutely. We believe that God’s love is for all people, and that includes LGBTQ+ individuals. You are welcome, affirmed, and celebrated here—fully included in every part of the church community.

Being Spirit-filled means we believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit today—bringing comfort, truth, healing, and power. We welcome the gifts of the Spirit, such as prophecy, healing, tongues, and discernment, and we seek to be led by God’s Spirit in all we do.

We see you. We welcome you. And we believe God has never turned you away. Church418 is a spiritual home where rejection turns into restoration.

Yes. We believe the Gospel compels us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly (Micah 6:8). We advocate for equity, dignity, and liberation as part of God’s Kingdom work on Earth.
